BENEFICIARY
This race will support the Cave City High School Cross Country and Track and Field Teams. The teams will be hosting this year's Melon Dash 5K Run.
LOCATION
The race starts and finishes at the Cave City Park.

ENTRY FEES
$25 race fee includes race entry, T-shirt (for racers registered by July 15 after which they will be first come; first serve until gone),a slice of Cave City watermelon, and a ticket to the Kiwani's pancake breakfast. Race day registration will begin at 6:00 AM. Make checks payable to: Cave City Cross Country. $30 Day of Race Registration is available (Cash or Check ONLY for day race registration).
T-SHIRTS
All runners pre-registered by JULY 15 will receive a T-shirt. After July 15 T-shirts will be handed out until they run out on a first come, first serve at the registration tent for anyone who signs up after July 16th or on the day of the race.. Sizes: Youth M and L and Adult S, M, L, XL, XXL. If you ARE NOT registered by JULY 15 there is NO GUARANTEE you will receive a shirt.
WEATHER POLICY
In the event of rain we will run the race. We will delay the start of the race if there is lightning in the area (30 minutes until lightning subsides) if the delays go past 8am we will have to cancel the race. In the event of a race cancelation due to weather there will be no refunds! This is a fundraiser so we cannot issue refunds. We will try and save race cancelation as a last resort if possible. The race will not be postponed to a different week as it is tied to the watermelon festival.
