From the Organizer
It's a fun way to support local disabled Veterans & their service dogs in training!
Join us on the Cross-Country Course at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC, to run, jog, walk, or cheer—with or without your furry friend. The course combines an open field and a natural trail, making it fun for runners of all ages and skill levels.
Vets to Vets United, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization comprised of local veterinarians and volunteers. Our mission is to help Veterans suffering from physical and/or emotional disabilities, including the potential for suicide, by matching them with rescued shelter dogs to be trained for service. All proceeds from the 5K9 Dog Jog will help cover the $24,000 program costs so our wounded warriors can focus on the healing power of the animal/human bond. Your participation in this event will help us improve and save lives, one Veteran and one dog at a time!
