Location: Horse Arena at the Tuscola County Fairgrounds, 188 Park Drive, Caro. (Use Pizza Hut in your GPS)
Packet Pick Up: Friday, July 10 from 5:00-6:00 pm at the Horse Arena Pavilion and Saturday, July 11 from 8:00-9:30 am
Event Cost: $30.00 (plus processing fee) with tshirt. No guarantee on receiving a tshirt for entries made after Saturday, June 27th.
$35.00 day of event (Venmo, cash, check only). No tshirt
Course Map is uploaded into the photos album. We run the same course that is used by the Child Advocacy Center.
5k walkers will start a couple minutes after the 5k/10k runners, and are advised to stay to the right side of the course so as not to block runners.
For those entering in the 5k walk- bring your pup in costume. All pups will receive a pup cup at the finish line.
Awards will be given for: Overall male and female in each 5k walk, 5k run, and 10k run.
Overall youth (12 and younger) male and female in the 5k run.
Top 3 male and female in the 5k walk, 5k run, and 10k run
Top 3 youth (12 and younger) male and female in the 5k run.
Top 3 best dressed pup costumes.
All finishers will receive a 2 ½ medal with lanyard.
Wear your red, white, and blue race gear as America turns 250!
Proceeds benefit local youth in the equine program by providing educational opportunities such as camps and seminars. A donation will also be made to Cass River Pet Friendz to aid in their fight against stray animal overpopulation.
Results and presentation of awards will be announced at the conclusion of the race.
