Join us for The Buffalo Shakeout, a high-energy, community-driven 5-mile run that officially kicks off Buffalo Marathon Weekend in collaboration with Runner’s Roost and New Balance. Whether you're racing, pacing, or just soaking in the atmosphere, this is your chance to loosen the legs, connect with fellow runners, and set the tone for an unforgettable weekend.

The run will take place at Wilkeson Pointe on Thursday, May 21st at 6:30pm, offering scenic waterfront views and the perfect backdrop to get your legs moving. After the run, we’ll keep the good vibes going with a post-run hangout at Perro & Poni Eatery—a great spot to refuel, relax, and connect with fellow runners.

This FREE event welcomes runners and walkers of all paces. Expect a fun, relaxed vibe with plenty of energy as the Buffalo running community comes together before race day.
