The Van Cortlandt Track Club: Cross Country 5k Summer Series
If you’re looking for a true cross country racing experience, historic Van Cortlandt Park is number one in NYC for a good reason. The classic Tortoise and Hare 5k course will have you punching your way up those hills and flying down the other side. Come have fun in a safe, family friendly atmosphere where you’ll not only be surrounded by lovely people but many experienced racers as well.
It was such hit last year, we are bringing back the kids races! For the last three races we will have kids races at 7:10pm. Sign up is a must, but racing is free!
Bib pickup and check in for the 5k begins 6:00pm on race day
IMPORTANT: The last race, #6 is the week after race #5 on July 30, not August 6!
Races take place every other Thursday night from May 29rd to July 30th!
Race start is 7pm
Awards will take place immediately following the race

Overall Winners each week will receive a Carrot Cake from Lloyd’s Famous
Age group winners each week will receive a Carrot Cake Muffin from Lloyd’s Famous
