Oscar Kemjika presents The 5th Annual, 2026 iBE-FiT 5K Invitational! A 3.1 mile run at Van Cortlandt Park’s Course. This event will raise money to support active and impactful causes in the community. A portion of the proceeds will help fund programs that benefit Goodnews to Scholars, Inc. and The RCCG Tabernacle of Restoration Building Project. The event will be held Saturday, June 13th at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, NY. The 5K will kick off at 1:15PM followed by the awards ceremony and special vote of thanks to our sponsors at 2:45PM. Refreshments will be available at the tents by the finish line before and after the race is completed. Join us Saturday June 13th, 2026 12:30 - 3:30pm at Van Cortlandt Park Bronx, NY. We'll meet at the Broadway Parade Grounds by the historic Tortoise & Hare Statue.
The 5K course consists of two loops – the flats and the back hills. The flats section surrounds the Parade Grounds and leads into “Freshman Hill”, a short ascent preceding the challenging climbs of the back hills, followed by a series of “refreshing” downhills before finishing back on the flats.
Prove to yourself that you’re stronger than you’ve ever been. Find your place and pace for the win within. Your efforts will not be diminished when you cross the finish. Push foreward for your reward!
All FINISHERS earn a medal. T-shirts are optional upon registration.
See you on Race Day!
**Those outside of NYC who can't make it in-person can register to participate virtually. Detailed instructions will be sent via email!
