The 2026 FBI Jerry Dove Memorial 5K is run in honor of the late Special Agent, Jerry Dove, who was killed in the line of duty in Miami, Florida, on April 11, 1986. Jerry was a native West Virginian, and prior to his FBI career, Jerry was attached to the West Virginia State Police as an attorney advisor. The race is dedicated to the memory of SA Jerry Dove and all law enforcement, firefighters, military personnel, and others who were killed while serving in the line of duty. The race is sponsored by the Federal Bureau of Investigation Citizens Academy Alumni Association.
Final details of the race will be official at opening day of registration. Changes may be made prior to opening day.
