One of the largest, longest running, and most celebrated 5Ks in Western Pennsylvania,
the Brentwood Firecracker 5K is one of Pittsburgh’s favorite Fourth of July traditions,
since 1983!
Each year, a couple thousand runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages and abilities
take on this iconic 3.1 mile course along Brownsville Road, cheered on every step of the
way.
The race starts at 9:00 AM, in front of Brentwood Towne Square. Immediately after the
race, the beloved Brentwood 4 th of July Parade starts, keeping the festivities going!
