Race day is May 23 at 7 a.m.
Bubbletown What The Duck is a 12 hour ultra marathon held at Spring Meadows Park in Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania. Spring Meadows is a beautiful park with mountain views and a mix of tree-lined and open areas.
The race consists of a 1.4192 mile loop run on a lightly rolling course on a smooth dirt/crushed rock surface.
Course is certified by Carl Hendricks through USATF, certification number: PA22030NP
All participants receive a t-shirt at packet pick up along with race number. All participants who complete 25 laps (35.48 miles) individually will receive a finisher buckle. All participants who complete 35.48 miles individually or as part of a team will also receive the coveted What the Duck hoodie. For example, if a team of 5 people run 10 miles per person for a total of 50 miles, all 5 members receive the hoodie for exceeding 35.48 miles cumulatively.
You can participate solo or as a team! Teams can have as many members as they choose and all members will receive the hoodie if the team collectively accumulates 25 laps.
Teams are allowed to run as a relay or multiple members running simultaneously. We are keeping the team competition very open ended so you can challenge your team in the way that works best for you!
Packet Pick up will be May 22 at Fleet Feet Mechanicsburg from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. or on race morning from 6 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. at the race start in Spring Meadows park.
Food and beverages will be provided throughout the event to get you through the day.
Each year, we alternate directions, this year's run will be clockwise.
