The Louisiana Highway Safety Commission is hosting 1 Million Steps to Safety, a 5K run/walk event held in person. This event aims to bring all road users together to celebrate Pedestrian Safety Month. People from across Louisiana are welcome to participate in the run or walk.

Our mission is to promote and improve highway safety in Louisiana through education, awareness, and community engagement.
