Join us for our 3rd annual 4th of July celebration with a four mile walk or run on the Friday, July 3rd-the day before Independence Day!
Get the festivities started early and get some exercise while you're at it-have a blast!
Kick off America's birthday with a 4 mile jaunt on Hatteras Island through beautiful Kinnakeet Shores in Avon.
All registered runners receive an eco-friendly cup for use on the course, an icy cold towel at the finish, a cool finisher's medal, a performance t-shirt and a delicious breakfast/post race party! We are also offering a 1776 (foot) dash for the little ones!!
But wait...it gets even better!! Part of the B.I.G. mission is to help support local non-profits. Our non-profit partners for this event are Hatteras Island Meals, Hatteras Island CERT Team and Chicamacomico Life Saving Station...so you can come and have a great time while helping your community!!!
