Hero Events - Ergathlon is a fun “race at your pace" indoor Triathlon consisting of three 10-minute exercises, with a two-minute recovery between each exercise. The three exercises are the Concept2 Ski Machine, Concept2 Bike and the Concept2 Rower. Participants can compete as an individual, two-person team, or three-person team. Each event is 10 minutes long with the objective of doing as many calories as possible in the allotted time. At the end of the 10 minutes, participants will have two-minutes to move to the next exercise. Once the two-minute recovery is complete, they will immediately start their next 10-minute set. The event is complete when all three exercises are finished. The total calories of all the exercises will be your score.
Proceeds go to The JAG Fund to help raise funds and increase awareness for brain tumor research. This will be a fun, family-friendly event for all ages and all levels of athletic ability.
Awards will be given out for the highest score within various categories. We encourage you to challenge your friends and family for bragging rights or maybe a friendly wager.
