Join the Hope DeSoto Long Term Recovery Group for our first-ever Virtual 5K and help us raise $25,000 to support organizational costs in DeSoto County, Florida.
Every step you take makes a real difference. Your registration directly funds critical disaster preparedness, response, recovery, mitigation, and long-term resiliency efforts for families still rebuilding after hurricanes and other disasters. Funds will specifically help sustain our dedicated case managers who walk alongside survivors, connecting them to the resources they need to fully recover and thrive.
How the Virtual 5K Works
Complete your 5K run, walk, or stroll anytime, anywhere between May 15 and June 30, 2026.
Use your favorite tracking app (Strava, Garmin, Apple Health, etc.) or simply time yourself.
Submit your results with a fun selfie or screenshot through our easy online form.
Everyone who registers and completes the event receives a custom finisher medal and personalized bib mailed directly to their door!
Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or doing it with family and friends, this is an inclusive event open to all ages and abilities. Lace up, get moving, and run for hope and resilience in DeSoto County.
