Monster Halloween 50 Mile Challenge (Oct 2026)

Relevant Running is always looking to help keep you motivated and inspired. Join us throughout October 2026 for the Monster Challenges Halloween 50 Mile Challenge. A virtual challenge for runners and walkers of all ages anywhere at any time. With this challenge, you can earn the awesome Monster Challenges Wicked Halloween medal AND Halloween themed mini-medals AND pins/buttons (if you are willing to put in the miles). 

Challenge participants will receive:
The Monster Challenges Halloween medal for all participants, regardless of their final mileage. This is one of our build your medal designs with 5 removable magnetic tombstones to help you track your first 50 mils. Participants who surpass 50 miles during the challenge will receive 1 assorted Halloween themed mini-medal for each additional 10 miles (samples pictured below). You may earn up to a limit of 5 Halloween themed mini-medals. For example: Run or walk 100 miles during the Challenge and receive the max of 5 mini medals. For mileage over 100, you will receive a Halloween themed pin/button for each 10 miles (you can earn up to 25 pins/buttons by putting in more miles). See sample pics below

Tracking
You will upload your running and/or walking miles into Runsignup during the Challenge. You will be able to see your progress tracking bar as well as milestones achieved along the way. You will also be able to follow others that are currently active in the Challenge.  

Challenge duration:
You can start/join the Challenge any time after 12:01am Eastern time October 1st 2026. Complete your miles at your own pace throughout the Challenge. The Challenge ends at 11:59pm Eastern time October 31st 2026. 

Leaderboard Status
You will be able to log your distance, time for each run or walk. This will track who is in the lead.
