From the Organizer
This 5K fun run/walk is being held in memory of Max Schollenberger, a 12-year-old Annville resident, who died after experiencing horrendous abuse and neglect. His death rocked the community and galvanized residents to do something substantive to honor Max and ensure he is remembered. This race provides an opportunity to help heal the community and to support The UPMC Child Advocacy Center of Central PA, an organization whose sole purpose is to treat children who have experienced abuse.
This is not a timed event. The focus of the run is to honor and remember Max.
