In-Person Race Details
The Trent Waldron Half Marathon and 10k will take place on Saturday- May 23, 2026 at Margaret Sullivan Park on West 15th Ave. The cut off time to finish is 12:00 Noon. No personal pacer (runners without bibs) and absolutely no personal lead bikes.
Virtual Race Details
The Trent Waldron Half Marathon and 10k Virtual race takes place May 14th to May 31st, 2026. Because this is a virtual race, you run it where and when you want on your choice of running course. Please follow all pedestrian safety ordinances including running on a sidewalk where available and not in the road. Follow the rules of the road if no sidewalk or multi-use trail is available and run against oncoming traffic and not with traffic. Medals will be mailed out within 45 days to virtual participants.
Registration and Bib Pick Up
Bib Pickup Date: Thursday, May 21st
Bib Pickup Time: 4:30pm-6:30pm
Bib Pickup Location: FlatTop Pizza (6th Avenue & F Street)
Bib pick up and registration is also available on the morning of the race from 7:30am-8:45am at Westchester Lagoon. Late Registration fees are in effect for runners registering after 11:59pm, May 22, 2026.

The half marathon is the distance where you find out what you're actually made of. Long enough to demand real preparation. Short enough that it doesn't consume your life to train for it. Most people who run their first half describe it as the race that changed their relationship with what they're capable of. Once you cross this finish line, the bar moves. That's not a warning — that's the point.
Race day energy varies by event size, but the finish line feeling is the same regardless. Big races keep the noise going the whole way. Smaller races give you stretches where it's just you and the miles — and that solitude becomes its own kind of fuel.
The half marathon rewards people who show up for the boring training miles.
How long to train: 10–14 weeks. If you're already running consistently, 10 weeks of structured buildup is enough. If you're building from a casual base, give yourself 14.
From 5K to marathon, running races are the most accessible entry point into endurance sport. There's a distance for every fitness level and a community at every start line.
