From the Organizer
Event Details: October 30th. Friday pre-halloween Evening Run
We have partnered with the USS Hornet to bring back a super fun and unique race experience to Alameda. Our "day of the dead" Twilight Run we did a few years ago is back, just moving the date slightly to coincide with Halloween. The event will still benefit the USS Hornet Museum and will start at 6:30pm. Sunset is scheduled that evening for 6:12pm, so headlamps are recommended but we will have lights on the course.
Costume highly recommended and encouraged!
The run will take you for a scenic loop around Alameda Point, starting and finishing at the Pier. Runners will enjoy views of San Francisco, spirit alley and the estuary shoreline along the flat and fast 5k course. There will be our normal beer garden, food, music and Age Group awards
THERE IS NO KIDS RUN FOR 2026 - DUE TO TRAFFIC CONCERNS ON FRIDAY NIGHT.
There is plenty of parking at the Hornet and around Alameda Point.
