From the Organizer
Garden City Gravel will take you through the same course as years past. Headquartered in the 9 Mile Valley, west of Missoula, this route shows you the best of our gravel riding. New for this year we have separate start times for different groups. Also, we are proud to offer a paracyclist category. All age group and category podiums run across the different start times and top 3 will be honored in each. For example if you are in the 50-59 category you can get in the top 3 regardless of your start group. The podiums are based on your ride time, not your relative finish within your ride group.
A beautiful 40 Mile gravel course for folks to train or try their hand at a gravel event. 1800 feet of climbing and a scenic out and back course on 9 mile road.
Complete the 40 mile course and then do the 55 mile course. Separate podium for the XL. Need miles??? Do this.

Gravel riding takes you off the pavement and onto mixed terrain — dirt roads, packed gravel, and everything in between — for a cycling experience that's more adventure than race.
The community is famously welcoming, the scenery is usually worth it, and finishing feels like you actually went somewhere.
Off-road cycling on mixed terrain — pavement, gravel, dirt. More adventure than road racing, more accessible than mountain biking.
